Excellent car (third a3 i've owned) let down by unreliable alarm system when new. Eventually fixed under warranty after i threatened to follow the 'sale of goods' route. The problem led to a redesign of the alarm software on all new a3 and tt audis.

The car is excellent, almost the best purchase i have ever made, the arrogance and rip off prices of the franchised dealer service department is the only poor experience i have had. Worrying they don't seem to know how the service regimes work for their own vehicles!!
