Easy to drive and nippy around town. Have to be careful to return a reasonable level of economy from the 1.4 75bhp engine. Stylish looks, and a quality feel inside and out. Fantasitc panaramic windscreen is a real feature. Let down by unsupportive front seats and tiny excuse of a glove box. Overall though, a pleasing car to spend time in, drive and own.

The auto gearbox is very sluggish and the stop start system seems dangerous, the car takes forever to respond. It's fairly comfortable for a small car and goes well if you use the paddle gear selectors. I've also had minor electrical niggles – the reversing sensors say you're about to hit an object 5 feet away and the alarm sometimes goes off and you have to do a factory reset to switch them off. The depreciation seems dismal, too - the list price is £15500, the value I was offered after one year was £6500 from the dealer

My driving school runs four c3s and one DS.. all the instructors are very happy with quality and running costs. My current vehicle has 90,000 miles and has cost me tyres and a service every 12500 miles and the pupils are very happy with the light steering and the comfort of the car. A few rattles from the flimsy roof panel, poor Sun visor, I miss the auto lights/wipers from the old model and the lack of roof mounted grab handles all the above due to the panoramic screen which I never use as it dramatically reduces head room when in use. Great car overall!! Citroen please lose the panoramic wind screen!

I bought a brand new Citroen automatic in 2012 September within 6 months an ESP warning light started to flash and cruise will stop working despite taking it back to the local dealer several time this hasn't been resolved. When it was one year and 3 months old the car started to stop in the middle of the road. They changed the alternator, said they will change the gear box. It has stopped three times whilst driving and twice it has failed to start in the morning. Felt it was too risky to drive and terminated the contract with Citroen finance they offered £500 compensation for selling me a faulty car and nothing for terminating the contract. I paid £10,317 for a faulty car worth £13,000 through Citroen finance, and Citroen finance is the right people to value Citroen cars - they offered me £0. Yes the value of a Citroen car is £0. If anybody is thinking of buying a Citroen automatic think twice.

I originally part exchanged a 72bhp 1.4 C3 for when I was working for G4S. I was a second chance thing, my old c3 2004 car was giving me grief! But I made the right choice going for this car! Within the three months of owing it really was a head turner! Particularly with the female gender! I remember once a woman in a VW Eos convertible gave a head turn while I was waiting at the lights as she stopped in the second lane. I could go on but I will get to how it performed. In its first few months it was incredibly responsive and punchy which influenced me to drive aggressively at times, evidently at the traffic lights, I think it was because of the stiffened clutch and gears so every time I took off it would launch making me look like a mad driver! It was really quick almost matching my sisters 4.4 BMW X5! At the moment it feels a bit like my old car! It's overdue service schedule was about 5 months ago but it will be interesting to see if it performs as well as it did when new. Overall I bought this car to treat myself after a hard days work. When driving back home on the motorway I could relax a little thanks to cruise control. I also started using the speed limiter to train my urge to floor it. The only time I've taken it to the garage was when I discovered a flat tyre due to a screw. Another thing I'd like to add was the faulty radio that would freeze for the whole day, this would happen when I wold try to connect my Galaxy S4 bluetooth. This occasional bug stopped and months ago though.

I Had My New C3 In April 2011 On The Motability Scheme to Replace My C2 VTR SensoDrive. I Do Generally Love The Car But there are some niggles. It Can Be Slugish On Hills and a bit greedy on Petrol, No Cup Holders Which My C2 Had Plenty of and Tiny Glove Box. I Also Paid £160 For The Visibility Pack Which My Old 2005 C3 Exclusive had as standard. But Put These Things aside Its Been A Great Car and No Problems Who Ever Has It After Me Will Have A Great Little Car.
