In the time that I've owned the car - apart from the basic stuff that one expects to replace like wipers, it's needed 1 new battery - this is because I do a lot of short journeys so it frequently wasn't getting fully charged each time I used it. Apart from that, it does everything I need it to do.

Only ever had one fault until recently. No 1 faulty sunroof, replaced immediately, No 2 since last MOT it keeps showing the engine management systems fault, have been told its because of the air recurculation system sensor.

A great little car that's big on space and reliability. Shame about the big a pillars that block visibility. Not the easeist car to reverse either.

Geat car, very reliable - just goes in for its annual service & mot. Greatest asset is its flexible rear seating / luggage capacity. Ideal as i play golf and go fishing. But, the honda jazz's ride is too unsettled, hence looking for a nearly new more comfortable small family car.

The honda jazz is a very easy car to live with but lacks performance and the fuel economy is not as good as it should be. It is in short a boring car but given the curse "may you live in interesting times" this is no bad thing.

Reliable, practicable, well built, a light & airy cabin. Only downside is the engine needs a bit more torque at 1500rpm onwards. At present engine needs to be worked if you lose revs.

Excellent interior space and good performance for its class. Fuel economy is also very good for an auto in this sector. Car let down by harsh ride and engine/road noise.

The electrical problem was the heater fan resistor pack failure easily replaced by myself in ten minuites with a second hand pack bought of the internet. My jazz is brilliant, practicable, frugal (constant 50+mpg), commodious for both passengers and luggage. It must be the closest vehicle possible to doctor who's tardis - small and nippy on the outside, huge and spacious on the inside.

Excellent round town and short day trips. With the rear seats down it swallows everything i've ever wanted to put in it (more than my husband's bmw 2.0 ltr diesel touring). Add to that it's been magnificent in the recent snow - we've taken it everywhere and left the rear wheel drive bmw in the driveway! Started every time - i should be knocking on wood here! Last summer we had to drive long distances and it wasn't so good for long hours at a stretch from the comfort/noise/vibration point of view but that's really my only complaint.

Without doubt, the most reliable car i've had in nearly 50 years of motoring. Absolutely nothing has 'gone wrong' in nearly 5 years. Only criticisms - rear suspension can be somewhat choppy and road noise excessive on some surfaces.

This is the second jazz i have owned. As with the last one it is a car for almost every purpose and is very reliable. The ownership package is excellent with good mpg, low insurance and 2 years free servicing when purchased as a 'pre-used' low mileage car of 3,000 miles. And mots for life.

Too many design faults that make the car one that i do not want to keep. the drivers seat is so uncomfortable that i cannot bear to drive for more than an hour at a time. Some of the design looks like it could have come from a 1980's eastern european car. It has been reliable, but not yet covered 6,000 miles so i would not expect any mechanical problems yet. Also the cost is too high compared to other cars of a similar size.

Well the boot is nice.... but the boot latch has failed and the clutch has just gone for the second time. I have also needed the battery replaced, and the electrics for the front headlights are intermittent. My car does not have a very hard life, although it does face a lot of hills, I do not expect this many serious problems on a relatively young car. Everybody has told me I am very unlucky and the Jazz is usually reliable, but this one has given me problem after problem. I have now given it up after the clutch went for the second time (I have never had this problem on other cars so I don't think it's down to me!)

Fabulous little car to complement our 2015 Honda CRV. I use it for buzzing around town and the hyrbid version accelerates like a wasp on steroids. The CVT gearbox is great - I observe the motoring journalists imply they don't know how to drive a CVT properly - if you use a leaden foot like a conventional auto then it does whine, but if you work with its natural progression it works really well, is fast and does not make odd noises. It is also chuckable - don't let it's image fool you.. like the wasp it can turn on a penny. The seats are a bit hard but otherwise a perfect 2nd car with amazing capacity and has a reputation for being utterly reliable.
