Brilliant,nothings gone wrong in 5.5 yrs well done mb! Yes the turning circle is its main problem and steering a bit wooden but the ride, comfort{standard suspension,thank god} and the turbo power when needed has been a joy to own and drive. Still a great pity the mb dealer is still lousy at acknowledgement of a customer in its showroom and to pricey for service work.

Quality image. Practical seat height for us. Dropping into cars no longer practical. Do not want 4x4 or other lesser quality brands. So the b class is the only one to suit.

Mercedes what more can i say....reliable, safty features, lovely to drive I suppose a little bit on over priced,but you know it's built well. You get what you pay for.....

It's a great car for practical reasons, if not the most inspiring of drives. The engine is rather noisy compared to similar units from bmw or audi.

I know the motoring mags don't rate the "b" class highly, but having had other mercs, bmws' audis' subarus' this b has proved its worth in summer and winter, todate it has been completely reliable and drives as if on rails, i don't do drifting anymore, but am still a rapid progress motorist, as opposed to a speeding motorist, it leaves nothing to be desired in the comfort stakes either

Very under rated. The transmission is silky smooth and just wafts along. Interior space surprises everyone both with regard to passenger accommodation and load space. Fuel economy is good, build quality excellent. This car does everything i need a car to do and does it all well.

It is probably one of the most under estimated cars by the car-press. A most wonderful, extremely safe and practical machine, everybody should be able to afford one!

I got my B-Class this year after researching a viewing Ford C-Max and VW Golf Plus vehicles. I found that for a second hand car the vehicle that maintained it's interior the best and didn't look as tired was the Merc B Class. Mine has all leather interior so benefits from being easy to clean. The aluminium trim int he cabin has got a couple of knocks but I did see other B-Classes with much worse. I have found the most surprising thing to be the economy of the car. On my 12 mile commute to work I usually get around 57mpg, it's half through town and half 60mpg country A roads, I am looking forward to seeing what it achieves on a trip down to Cornwall. The car is very comfortable with the seats being exceptionally comfy.Allt he extra electronics make driving a pleasure. The car is a bit noisy for a merc. but hey ho it's still much much quieter than many diesels on the road. It has excellent confident acceleration for manoevers around 40 mpg drivers and pastel coloured Wagon R's. I really like the rain sensors, auto lights, tyre pressure and blown bulb indicators. The headlamps that turn with the car are also a useful benefit. When I bought the car it had the "machine gun door lock" problem which was replaced by the garage. This is a well documented problem, I believe it can be fixed if treated early with a spot of WD40 down the lock pin shaft. Only one other problem was that the previous owner had put something like Turtle Wax in the windscreen wash solution tank which had bunged up the jets and made the windscreen a smeary mess all the time. All fixed now though, thankfully the windscreen wash tank in this car is enormous and has a correspondingly large 12cm diameter tank opening! My vehicle only had 43K on the clock so it drives very well and feels good. I like the high up driving position too.

Took delivery of my new Silver B250 2 weeks ago, so far loving her! I actually traded my 2013 MKVI GTI for it. In Canada, we got the B250 with 211 bhp and 258 lbs. Torque version. Took her out this morning and use the Sport mode the first time and what a blast! The B250 is definitely more powerful and responsive than the standard GTI. Can't wait to tune the ECU to the AMG spec and see what the little Merc can do on our own backyard - Rocky Mountain roads.

In the main it does what the box says. The interior design is not good for a premium brand. The radio/cd is rubbish and the control of it from the steering wheel is is dangerous. The so called computer display shows the wrong info unless you fiddle with it which is dangerous while moving. Engine is ok. Turning circle is huge which makes it difficult to park for a smallish car.

Overall a good car but only for city driving. Sport model has a very unsettled ride in the city, with a low front end that can sometimes catch speed bumps when you are in a hurry.

Fantastic car to drive, the 2.1 engine delivers in every way. It has a really nice ride height and your entry and exit is made easy with big doors. Plenty of room for the rear passengers and pleasant ambient lightning
