Running Cost

Low tax (included withn the lease cost), high'ish MPG for this type of car and a three year sevice plan mean that the yaerly cost is resonable compared to the 2008 X5 3.0 D M sport I owned before

Car has performed better than expected. Recall work performed quickly and proactively
Running Cost

No unexpected costs yet. Fuel economy is brilliant with over 50mpg achieved on longer run. Car far more frugal tham ML420 CDI it replaced, but "chipped" ML with 360 BHP and 700+NM Torque was exciting!!!

Pros: + High quality interior + Brilliant climate control, no need to keep adjusting temperature like in my previous 3 years old BMW5 + Comfortable seats + Brilliant steering wheel (thick, soft, super comfortable) + Large and practical boot (large pocket, flexible partitioning) + Practical interior (pockets, auto-lifting boot cover!!!) + Super smooth auto transmission + Easy to use and follow Navigation Cans: - A bit longer, sure, but that's the price for practicality -/+ 40-45 mpg (could be better, but good enough)

Apart from one faulty diagnostic warning about the air suspension there has been no reliability issues with this car.
Running Cost

2 out of 5

Servicing costs have been very reasonable. The biggest disappointment with this car has been the high fuel consumption compared to those claimed for the car by the manufacturer. The car has an average consumption of just over 30 MPG compared to a claimed 38 MPG for the combined cycle. I cannot get anywhere the claimed figure even on motorway driving at moderate speeds.
