Excellent car, the best I have ever had. It looks smart in white, is reliable and economical. It's comfortable, quiet and swallows loads in the boot.

I bought a Skoda because they were supposed to be a good reliable car, I'm disappointed to find that they're not as reliable as people said,im having terrible problem with central locking system,windows going up and down on their own,earth strap on engine causing battery to drain by 1 1/2 amps I have found on forums that this problem is endemic right across their range after talking to Skoda owners ,one in particular who owns a Skoda yeti 1 year old having same problems only wish I had gone for more reliable car like the kia very disappointed

very poor reliability, egr had to be replaced, oxygen sensors replaced, gearbox bearings replaced and poor electrics, all very expensive repairs and all on a car with only 60,000 miles on the clock, without doubt the worst car I have ever owned and I have been driving for forty years. I owned a MK1 Fabia for six years and it was a great car, this one is a very poor substitute.

Owned this car from new, nine years, 60,000 miles. One small fault - an ignition coil failed. Everything else is normal wear and tear, ie wiper blades, headlamp bulbs, tyres, brake pads and discs - still on original battery and exhaust. Nice car to drive, very easy and quite economical, a bit noisy and a bit underpowered on the motorway so I wouldn't have the 1.2 engine next time. But very good in urban driving. Comfort very good for a small car, and altogether a highly practical vehicle. Not bad in snow either (Northern drivers note).

This is my third Skoda Fabia having owned a MK1 Estate and two Mk2. My current car is by far the best of the three. The 1.2 TSI 105 engine is a cracker being very nippy around town and powerful enough to enjoy motorway cruising. The Elegance model is superbly equipped. Mine has cruise, rear park sensors, climate, curtain air bags etc, whilst the 7 speed DSG VW gearbox is the most fantastic auto I have ever owned. The car is very comfortable and extremely spacious while the boot is also huge. Reliability is right up there with the best.

I would have another one, lovely comfortable and quiet car. Also it's my first diesel. MPG starting to increase now 64mpg at 28,000 up to 15,000 I couldn't get more than 53 mpg.

Well designed and spacious but is starting to develop more and more faults. First a clunk every time the car goes over a bump which the garage have been unable to rectify despite numerous visits and now the oil light coming on only three months after the first major service. Also vibrating parts in the cabin which annoy and have had to be rectified. Worst of all however is the steering which is just plain odd. The car is not living up to the owners reviews I read before buying it!

I do my own servicing (trained motor engineer) and have always changed oil, filters and done regular checks as per manufacturer. It has never gone wrong. Minor warranty stuff done a couple of years ago because I'm fussy! I'd buy another Skoda - want a Yeti.

Replacement for one which broke on ave every 2 months, Oil level sensor went after a week, rear doors leaked after 6 months, Recent mirror switch fell out, window switches loose

Since I have had the vehicle it has never been unreliable. The only issue I have had is with an intermittant fault with the coolant sensor. This was rectified and no issues have occurs since.
