The Skoda Superb was rated 10th out of the top 75 cars in the 2020 Driver Power owner satisfaction survey, but failed to chart in our 2021 and 2022 surveys. However, the Skoda Kodiaq, which shares several engines and parts with the Superb finished in 5th place overall in the 2022 DriverPower survey, indicating that it’ll be dependable. In our brand satisfaction survey, Skoda finished in 20th place overall, with 21.65% of owners reporting an issue in the first year of ownership. 

Safety

Seven airbags, hill-hold, pedestrian protection, electronic stability control and post-collision braking are fitted across the range. For even greater peace of mind, the four-wheel-drive versions will grip that little bit better in wet, icy or snowy conditions.

The Skoda Superb’s five-star Euro NCAP crash-test score gives you plenty of reassurance that the Superb will protect you and your passengers well in the event of an accident, while the top-spec L&K model also has some advanced safety technology as standard, including blind-spot detection and lane-keeping assistance. These systems are available as options on lower-spec cars.
