Test drive the DSG in this model before you buy it. Only auto I've driven that takes itself out of gear while stationary on slopes! Always in the wrong gear I.e 7th at 30mph. 3 years old 3 steering racks! All under warranty. Wind noise from mirrors is bad. Mpg is bad 55 litres and 420 miles! Don't bother with this unless you like rattles, wind noise , poor rear visibility, dealers that aren't savvy to how technical this model is.

Very happy with this vehicle. With 4 kids I wanted a vehicle to seat 6 with decent luggage space and without going up to the long wheelbase transporter/vito/etc. Plenty of power with the 2l engine and very easy to drive (the parking sensors are essential). I expect to keep this for many years. With the single seat removed to give 2+2+2 seating & the sliding door, piling kids in+out couldn't be much easier. The only minor niggle is whistling from the roof rail at speed.

Never had abreakdown, had at least two minor electrical faults which were put right by a VX dealer.
