Hot car deal: fully-loaded Vauxhall Grandland SUV for just £210 per month
Bags of space and loads of kit: our hot deal for January 15th is the Vauxhall Grandland SUV for £210 per month
The Vauxhall Grandland is a spacious, family-friendly SUV that comes loaded with kit and feels solidly built. It previously suffered from a slightly dowdy image, but an update in 2021 introduced the manufacturer’s trademark ‘Vizor’ front-end design and added its PurePanel infotainment system to boost the five-seater SUV’s appeal.
The Grandland doesn’t offer the most involving drive compared to rivals such as the Ford Kuga or SEAT Ateca, but if you’re after a roomy, family runabout that’s comfortable and easy to live with, then Vauxhall’s mid-size SUV might fit the bill.
What’s so good about this Vauxhall Grandland deal?
This deal from leasing.com lets you cover up to 5,000 miles a year with an initial payment of £2,188.19, then 24 monthly payments of £209.80. Unlike a lot of the leasing offers we feature, this particular deal doesn’t offer much value if you decide to up the agreed annual mileage allowance. A small bump to 6,000 miles a year means you’ll pay a reasonable £226.87 every four weeks, but moving further to 10,000 miles sees monthly payments shoot up to nearly £300.
The good news is that this Grandland model is offered in lavish Ultimate specification. Standard kit includes 19-inch alloys, alloy-effect front and rear skid plates, a power operated tailgate with foot sensor function, heated sport-style seats with Alcantara inserts, dual-zone climate control, a heated steering wheel, a 360-degree parking camera, a 12-inch digital driver’s display and a 10-inch touch screen with integrated sat-nav.
Power comes from a 128bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. 0-62mph is dispatched in 10.3 seconds, while Vauxhall claims you should see average fuel consumption of around 43-44mpg.
What’s so good about the Vauxhall Grandland?
If you want a sensible, practical and quiet family car with good visibility and a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, the Grandland makes a lot of sense. Throw in decent fuel economy and a fairly soothing ride (the Grandland’s seats are also approved by AGR, an organisation that promotes healthy posture), and the monthly £210 fee in this deal starts to look pretty good value.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?
This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the two-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.
Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
