Top-of-the-range Fiat 500 EV gains powerful JBL sound system
- Available to order shortly
- 500 is best-selling EV in Europe
- Six paint colours offered
The electric Fiat 500 has gained a range-topping La Prima by Bocelli special edition. Celebrating Italian singer Andrea Bocelli, the new version gets an upgraded sound system and a few exclusive touches. Fiat has confirmed it will be on sale this spring.
The new 320kW JBL Premium Audio system features the audio brand’s ‘Virtual Venues’ technology that’s said to bring an immersive listening experience, as you’d expect in something as compact as the Fiat 500. The car maker says the stereo system has been fitted without any impact on interior or boot space.

The Fiat 500 La Prima by Bocelli is available in the Onyx Black paint shown here, or in Rose Gold, Ice White, Mineral Grey, Ocean Green or Celestial Blue shades. As with the rest of the range, you can have it as a hatchback or as a fabric-roofed convertible.
La Prima versions include features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen with a number of connectivity options, LED headlights and 17-inch alloy wheels. It gets premium upholstery and a woven dashboard, both with Fiat logos.
Fiat says one in three new 500s are ordered in this top-spec guise, and that its electric city car is the biggest-selling EV in Europe. It didn’t make the top-10 list in the UK in 2021, though, being outsold by the MINI Electric, Renault ZOE and Vauxhall Corsa-e.
