Today’s hot car deal: a bargain runaround Fiat 500 for £129 a month
Our hot deal for December 5 is an incredible lease on the cute Fiat 500 for under £130 a month
Our hot deal for today is the cheapest we’ve seen for a while – and it’s on a car we like, too. The Fiat 500 is an iconic small car and this deal is an absolute cracker – a mild hybrid version of one of the UK’s favourite city cars with a decent level of kit for under £130 a month.
What’s so good about this Fiat 500 deal?
The headline here is the price – what equates to less than the price of a posh coffee every day for a brilliant little Fiat 500. We’ve found this deal at Select Car Leasing with a low initial payment of £1,169 (plus an arrangement fee of £294), then 36 monthly payments of £129.98 – and there’s a variety of colours in stock now.
You’ll be limited to 5,000 miles per year, but that’s probably more than enough for a little runaround like this. If you want to up the mileage to 8,000 miles a year, the monthly payment rises a bit to £137.69 with a £1,239.21 upfront payment.
And this is no budget entry-level model. It comes with a seven-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a fixed glass roof, alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights plus auto lights and wipers.
What’s so good about the Fiat 500?
It’s no surprise the Fiat 500 is so popular. Along with those cute retro looks, the car comes loaded with the latest tech and is easy to drive – which is one of the reasons it’s so loved by learner drivers, too.
As well as being cheap to buy, this 500 should be cheap to run, too. The 1.0-litre engine features a mild-hybrid system that gives the engine a tiny electric boost – you’ll hardly notice it when driving, but it should help efficiency. Fiat claims an impressive average of 61.4mpg.
The 500 isn’t too bad on the motorway, but it’s around town where the car excels with light steering and excellent all-round visibility making it easy to park. The ride is a bit firm over the bumps, but the peppy engine makes darting in and out of traffic a breeze.
There’s not much space in the rear seats or the boot – enough for a week’s shopping for a couple of people – but the driving position is good and its controls are easy to use.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?
This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the three-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.
Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
