I have found this car to be a complete money pit. So disappointed to have bought what I thought would be a car to last up to 7 years virtually trouble free. Alas not the case. Always serviced by Mazda main dealer. I would recommend this car to no one other than the scrap yard.

I have purchased a Mazda 6 estate after extensive research. I have decided to purchase an ex fleet car. I must say, I don't regret my decision at all! The car is great in every aspect: looks, economomy, reliability, handling and overall it's a fun to drive car. Mazda authorised dealer service has left me with a great deal of confidence. I will continue to service my car only at Mazda!

A comfortable, long-legged estate car. There is more than adequate power and torque for towing my caravan. Yes, there is some wind noise at motorway speed but it is not excessive. It is still possible to hold a conversation with the passengers without having to raise one's voice. The only downside is slight turbo lag in the higher gears below about 50 mph. The variable geometry turbo means that there has to be around 2,000 revs on the clock before the turbo really kicks and then, wow! Town driving at 30mph in top gear means stirring the gearbox. When towing, it can be embarassing if the driver doesn't drop the gears to enable acceleration. Al round? An excellent car for the money.

I have owned this vehicle since new. It is currently just over four years old with 150,000 miles covered. It has been regularly maintained by the same Mazda dealer since new every 12,500 miles. The only issues I have had are a timing chain replacement under warranty at approx. 70,000 miles, a drivers seat became loose, drivers electric window switch replaced and just recently, a front interior roof lamp unit replaced. Everything else is mileage related, tyres etc. The car is still great to drive, has passed two MOTs without any issues and I'm not tired of it. Its a shame that the lease period is now at an end!!

Reliability seems good now however when the vehicle was new it spent sevev of it's first 14 weeks off the road with oxygen sensor problems
