Hot car deal: sporty Skoda Octavia vRS Estate for £278 a month
After practicality and driving fun? Our hot car deal for February 19th is the supremely capable Skoda Octavia vRS Estate for £278 a month
The Skoda Octavia vRS Estate is a superb all-rounder that offers equal measures of practicality and performance. It’s able to tick a multitude of boxes for buyers on the lookout for space, pace and decent levels of comfort, while its relative affordability helps provide a further edge. When you factor in the vRS’s stylish exterior, impressive cabin quality and ability to offer a decent drive, too, it really is a hard one to beat.
What’s so good about this Skoda Octavia vRS Estate deal?
This deal from Applied Leasing lets you cover up to 5,000 miles a year with an initial payment of £3,335.76 then monthly payments of £277.98 over two years. If you need to adjust the length of the agreement, or increase the mileage, then there is some flexibility to do so, although it does bring an extra charge. For example, specifying 8,000 miles per year means you’ll pay £299.93 on a monthly basis, combined with a slight increase in the deposit amount.
As the flagship performance model in the Octavia range, the vRS features a good level of standard equipment, including 19-inch alloys, LED Matrix headlights, adaptive cruise control, black vRS-branded upholstery with red stitching, heated front seats, Virtual Cockpit digital display, and a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen with integrated sat-nav.
The sportier nature of the vRS is accentuated by a suspension setup that’s 15mm lower than a standard model, while the rear spoiler and more dynamic exterior trim complete the look. Power comes from a 2.0-litre petrol engine producing 242bhp via a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission. 0-62mph takes just 6.7 seconds, and Skoda claims you should see overall fuel economy of around 40mpg.
What’s so good about the Skoda Octavia vRS Estate?
This petrol-powered Octavia vRS Estate is simply a terrific car to own, with very few weak spots. Strong performance and great interior space, along with impressive standard kit and decent fuel economy mean it’s hard to ignore.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?
This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the two-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit, but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.
Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
