Best car lease deals 2021/2022

The best new car lease deals, including the very best value manufacturer offers

Carbuyer Best lease deals 2021/2022

If you’re keen on having one of the latest cars on your driveway but don’t want to commit to full ownership, then leasing a new or used car could be the ideal solution. Leasing isn’t just an option for business users; individual customers can also benefit from the upsides of leasing by taking out a Personal Contract Hire (PCH) payment plan.

When you lease a car, you’re effectively renting it. First you pay an initial rental charge, then a set monthly cost over a set period - usually 36 or 48 months - and when the contract is up, you hand the keys back and that’s the end of the deal. There’s no selling process or awkward negotiating involved.

Carbuyer Best Car Awards 2022 - the winners

There are a few extra factors to be taken into account should you opt for a PCH contract. Firstly, there will be an annual mileage allowance. If you exceed this limit then you will be charged per extra mile and some of the rates can be quite high. Also, much like a normal rental car, the vehicle’s condition must be acceptable on its return, otherwise you’ll have to pay to make the car good again.

As with anything financial, be sure to do your research before making a decision. All plans, such as Personal Contract Hire, Personal Contract Purchase and Hire Purchase, come with their own pros and cons and are a significant commitment for most people, so it’s important to determine which form of finance works best for you. If you prefer the idea of owning your new car instead, then check out our list of the best new car deals.

Read on for our list of the best PCH leasing deals currently available directly from the manufacturer.

1. Audi A1 Sportback

Audi A1 lease deals

Model: A1 Sportback Technik 25 TFSI 95 PS Manual

The latest Audi A1 is one of few superminis that can genuinely be classed as a luxury car. Typical Audi refinement and quality is as plentiful in the A1 as it is in any of the bigger and more expensive models. All new A1s now come in five-door Sportback form too, making it far more practical. All passengers should find themselves comfortable on longer journeys and the 335-litre boot should be big enough for most day-to-day tasks. Find out more about this deal here.

BMW X2 lease deals

Model: sDrive18i M Sport

The BMW X2 is a sporty SUV that puts a sleek coupe-style body on top of the proven underpinnings of the X1. The X2 in this offer is the sDrive18i with the smaller 134bhp engine, so running costs should be acceptable too. Find out more about this deal here.

While base models are well equipped, the Prestige model offered here is the range-topper and comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, upgraded upholstery, a multiview camera system, wireless smartphone connectivity, climate control, heated and electrically adjustable door mirrors and keyless entry. 7. MINI Electric

MINI Electric lease deals

Model: Level 1

The MINI has always seemed a perfect candidate for electrification since it’s a small, iconic car that’s loved by many and very often used for city driving and shorter trips. The MINI Electric is based on the standard petrol-powered hatchback and is actually a bit difficult to tell apart. The small body and range of just 145-miles rule this car out for those looking to make regular long trips but for zipping around town in style, there aren’t many cars that come close. 8. Range Rover

Range Rover lease deals

Model: D300 SE

While Land Rover has been fairly subdued in its redesigning of the iconic Range Rover, the changes have been made where they count the most, and the latest model promises to maintain this car’s reputation as one of finest SUVs on the market. Of course, being a flagship model means that the Range Rover commands a high price, starting at around £98,000. Opting for a PCH deal, however, could bring it more realistically within reach. It’s fun to drive for a car of its size too, thanks to a lively range of engines and firm but not uncomfortable suspension. Find out more about this deal here.
