Used car deals of the week
Used car finance deals on models from Vauxhall and Volkswagen, along with a wildcard Hyundai i20 N hot hatch for under £20k

If you’re buying a used car, it’s even more important to research the deals available thoroughly, and be open-minded to the best used car deals on offer. This can often save you lots of money if you’re prepared to consider different models.
To help you find the top used car deals in the UK, our team of experts regularly check the classifieds to look out for top models and great value prices.
This week's top picks include the Vauxhall Corsa-e for under £160 a month and a cut-price Volkswagen Golf GTE. There’s also our wildcard: a 2022 Hyundai i20 N that still looks like new, and comes with a long warranty.
Each week we’ll add a selection of the best used car deals, and move our past picks down the list while they are still available, so you can check those out too.
It’s important to avoid the potential pitfalls that can come with buying a used car, and we’ve got a guide explaining all the things to look out for. We’re featuring mainly nearly-new cars on this list, most of which are still within the manufacturer’s warranty and available on an approved used scheme, but also throwing in a wildcard in case you fancy something a little older and more interesting. However, we haven’t viewed these cars in person, so it’s important to check out their history, and ideally organise an inspection, before going ahead with a purchase.
Read on for our list of the best used car deals.

Our pick of this week’s used car PCP deals…
Used Vauxhall Corsa-e: £155 a month

If you want to make the switch to electric, there are few more hassle-free options than the Vauxhall Corsa-e – an EV twist on the UK’s most popular supermini.
Model: Vauxhall Corsa-e 50kWh SE Nav automatic

|
|
The Vauxhall Corsa is one of Britain’s favourite superminis, and for several years now an all-electric version has been available. It might look similar, but there’s a smooth electric motor and 50kWh battery lurking beneath its bodywork, for easy around-town driving and seriously cheap running costs. This example has racked up just over 50k miles in short order, so it costs just £155 a month. We wouldn’t let this mileage put us off, as for many drivers popping to the shops it will be many years before it gets close to the 100,000-mile mark.
Used Volkswagen Golf GTE: £246 a month

If you aren’t ready to go full-EV, the Volkswagen Golf GTE offers petrol and electric motoring for under £250 a month.
Model: Volkswagen Golf GTE 1.4 TSI DSG automatic

This sport Golf might be easily mistaken for a GTI, but it’s actually a GTE – with both a petrol and electric motor, along with a battery pack. This allows it to return up to 141mpg on the combined cycle, and so long as you charge it often, it could consume almost no fuel at all during local trips. This example is fitted with 17-inch alloy wheels and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, along with LED lighting.

Carbuyer wildcard: Hyundai i20 N: £19,950

Our favourite hot hatchback for 2024 is now available on the used market for just under £20k, making it a true motoring bargain.

Hyundai gave the humble i20 supermini its performance makeover in 2022, creating one of the most impressive and best bang-for-your-buck hot hatchbacks of a generation. Its turbocharged 1.6-litre petrol engine gets it from 0-62mph in just 6.2 seconds, but it’s the i20 N’s handling that leaves an indelible impression on drivers. This metallic red example hasn’t even racked up 20,000 miles yet, but it’s available for under £20k or £398 per month on a PCP finance deal.
