Best car leasing deals 2024: this week’s top PCH offers
Our experts sift through the best car lease deals to save you money, and this week features offers from Skoda, Vauxhall and Renault
When leasing a new car the sheer number of deals, payment terms and deals can seem almost overwhelming. That’s why our team of car experts keep an eye on the latest trends and only pick out the car leases with the biggest discounts on the best models. We also check the terms and conditions to make sure there are no surprises like stinging admin fees or excessive initial rental payments.
Our choices for this week’s round-up of the best leasing deals include the Skoda Kodiaq with a frugal diesel engine for £239 a month, the popular Vauxhall Mokka Electric for just £205 and the spacious Renault Symbioz hybrid for £178.
Before signing on the dotted line, you’ll want to understand exactly how a leasing deal (also known as PCH) works, and how it differs from Personal Control Purchase (PCP) finance and Hire Purchase (HP). In its most basic terms, think of PCH as akin to renting the car on a long-term basis, while PCP allows you to pay off a car in instalments before deciding whether to buy it outright with a balloon payment or handing it back at the end of the term. Hire Purchase is more like a mortgage, where you pay monthly instalments until you own the car outright.
Along with cash purchases, these are the main methods of buying a new car in the UK, and the Carbuyer team also picks out the week’s best PCP car deals, along with some of our favourite used car deals of the week. A PCH deal is enticing thanks to its affordable prices, giving you access to new cars with very little hassle, but there’s typically no opportunity to own the car at the end of the term.

Best new car leasing deals – latest deals updated 31 October 2024
Skoda Kodiaq: £239 a month
The all-new Skoda Kodiaq arrived just a few months ago, and not only has it already scooped our Best Large Family Car award, it’s already being offered on some seriously tempting leasing deals. We love its excellent interior and great levels of equipment. This five-seat version is also terrifically practical thanks to its vast boot.
About this lease deal… |
|
If you’re looking for a comfortable, economical and spacious SUV, you won’t find a better candidate than the latest Skoda Kodiaq. Diesel might have seen a sharp decline in recent years, but we still think it has a place in larger cars, and it gives the Kodiaq impressive credentials. These include 53.2mpg fuel efficiency and a hefty towing limit of 2,000kg – plenty for a large caravan. It also comes with a DSG automatic transmission as standard, for fuss-free driving. Passengers will feel spoiled by the space on offer, and this five-seat Kodiaq has a class-leading 910-litre boot behind the rear seats.

Vauxhall Mokka Electric: £205 a month
Forget anything you’ve heard about electric cars being too expensive, this deal could have you behind the wheel of a Mokka Electric for £205 a month – far less than many petrol cars.
About this lease deal… |
|
Smooth, nippy and modern-looking, it’s easy to see why the Mokka Electric has become one of Vauxhall’s most popular models. This deal might be a bargain, but it’s not even offered for the entry-level trim, instead putting the Ultimate on your drive. Along with the Mokka’s already impressive kit, this adds Matrix LED adaptive headlights, Alcantara upholstery, adaptive cruise control, keyless entry and wireless smartphone charging. The Mokka comes with a 134bhp electric motor and 50kWh battery, giving it an official range figure of 209 miles. That makes it best suited to local trips, but longer adventures and road trips certainly aren’t out of the question – it can charge at up to 100kW at a rapid charger.

Renault Symbioz: £178 a month
The Symbioz is one of the latest SUVs in Renault’s burgeoning SUV range, slotting in between the Captur (which it’s based on) and the larger Austral. It’s a mid-sized Nissan Qashqai rival with five seats aimed squarely at families.
About this lease deal… |
|
We’re big fans of the Renault Captur here at Carbuyer, but if you need a bigger vehicle, the Symbioz takes the same building blocks and stretches their dimensions. As a result, you get more cabin space and a bigger 492-litre boot. Tall adults can sit quite comfortably in the back, and the Symbioz serves up a mature driving experience too. Its automatic gearbox means there are no gearchanges to worry about, and its electric motor and 1.6-litre petrol engine produce 143bhp for decent performance and an impressive 60.1mpg. We also found its Google-based infotainment quick and easy to use.

Volkswagen ID.3: £214
The Volkswagen ID.3 has certainly improved with age; a facelift in 2023 bringing enhanced interior quality and tweaks to the car’s software and infotainment system. It still isn’t a class leader, but the ID.3 is well worth a look – particularly at this tempting price.
About this lease deal… |
|
This particular ID.3 model offers up to 268 miles of range from a full charge, while performance is strong too, with the ID.3’s 201bhp total output helping to take the family hatch from 0-62mph in 7.6 seconds. Standard kit includes: 18-inch alloy wheels, Matrix LED headlights, dual-zone climate control, heated seats, front and rear parking sensors, and a rear view camera.
