If you think you might need an increase in the agreed mileage limit, then you can adjust to suit, although this will cost you more – with a rise in the deposit amount and ongoing monthly instalments. For example, if you specify 8,000 miles a year, you’ll pay an extra £180.86 upfront, and a further £15.07 every month.

Power comes from a 1.5-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine, delivering 134bhp and 220Nm of torque via a seven-speed automatic transmission. 0-62mph is dispatched in 8.3 seconds, while MINI says you should see average fuel economy of around 50mpg on a mixture of roads.
