Hot car deal: upmarket MINI hatchback for just £233 a month
Full of quality and fun to drive; our hot car deal for January 22nd is a sporty MINI hatchback for £233 a month
It’s hard to think of a more classy-looking small car than the MINI hatchback. It doesn’t matter if you’re shopping on the King’s Road in Chelsea, or on the school run in the suburbs, a MINI hatch still delivers just the right amount of understated style.
Its huge popularity doesn’t appear to have dented its premium image, either, with the dinky three-door model finishing 2023 as the seventh best-selling car in the UK – not a bad performance after more than three generations and 20 years on sale. Fundamentally, the MINI continues to deliver on its most basic principles; remaining fun to drive, full of character, and providing premium levels of interior quality that elevate it above rivals.
What’s so good about this MINI hatchback deal?
This deal from Central Vehicle Leasing lets you cover up to 5,000 miles a year with an initial payment of £2,793.46, then monthly payments of £232.79 over a two-year term. If you think you might need an increase in the agreed mileage limit, then you can adjust to suit, although this will cost you more – with a rise in the deposit amount and ongoing monthly instalments. For example, if you specify 8,000 miles a year, you’ll pay an extra £180.86 upfront, and a further £15.07 every month.
What makes this offer even more attractive, aside from the reasonable costs, is that it’s for a MINI Cooper Sport model, which comes with a host of styling and equipment upgrades over the entry-level Classic specification. A John Cooper Works aero kit is standard, along with a rear spoiler, adaptive suspension and 17-inch black alloy wheels. Interior kit includes JCW sports seats and a leather-trimmed, multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, automatic air-conditioning, rear parking sensors and an 8.8-inch display screen with Apple CarPlay.
Power comes from a 1.5-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine, delivering 134bhp and 220Nm of torque via a seven-speed automatic transmission. 0-62mph is dispatched in 8.3 seconds, while MINI says you should see average fuel economy of around 50mpg on a mixture of roads.
What’s so good about the MINI hatchback?
Driving the MINI will certainly put a smile on your face. Of course, there are limitations with interior and boot space, but if your lifestyle suits then you’ll have a premium-feeling hatch that offers punchy performance and is great to drive. Throw in the cool JCW extras that come with the Sport trim and you could spend the next couple of years driving around in a very desirable small car.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?
This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the two-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit, but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.
Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
