What a fantastic little car !!!!! Highly recommended !!!!! Low servicing costs, Great MPG - as long as you drive using ECO mode. Great on long trips or around the towns & cities. Easy to park.

Pros: - Good handling, sharp steering, no body roll when cornering - smooth gearbox, well equipped (sync, LED lights, heated windscreen, mood light, leather steering wheel), good road/engine noise isolation (just a little wind noise around A-pillar) - Reasonably well build with good plastics. No squeaks or rattles. Good storage Cons: - Disappointing fuel economy (gears were made longer to improve mpg but this made car slower with no better mpg) - Firm, narrow seats - hold well in corners but not comfy over long distances - Hard to find comfortable driving position despite 2-way adjustable seat and steering column (I'm 1.8m): either pedals are too close or gear knob too far - Poor rear visibility, side mirrors too close to driver - need to turn the head to see. - cramped rear seats - seatbelt hard to reach on 3-door version - poor night vision - yellow, low brightness headlights - ride may be too hard for some - small fuel tank Problems: - reverse gear pops out quiet often when selected - noisy brakes - seat latches didn't work when brand new

The 1.25 82 engine runs well but has no thrills and it's slow up hills. Since owning the car it's had 3 faults. Firstly with the boot lock not opening, secondly with the steering clunking at low speed which are 2 common faults. Finally, the 3rd fault the car kept jumping out of reverse gear. The linkage had to be lubricated. It's now ok. The rear window has poor vision when reversing. The door seals are falling off. Overall I would say it's ok but great.

This car is the best car I have ever driven. I have had a BMW 330 sports turbo and a top spec VW 2.0 sports. This little car is better to drive than both of them. It feels like you're in a bumper car at the fair! It's sooo much fun to drive. The Bluetooth is fantastic too.

Radiator hose came off in outside lane of M25 after 180miles (stupid clip rather than a jubilee clip). Heater fan control resistor needed replacing after 6000miles (1.5years), not user replaceable whole dashboard needed removing.

Disk brakes rubbed from day one and still do. All locks wear quickly (tibbe key) and soon become useless leaving you locked out. Replacements are expensive when fitted and will not resolve the problem.

We bought this car because we wanted something that was economical and powerful. From what we found and what the Ford dealership told us, we would get exactly that but no. This car is awful. It is by far the worst car we have ever owned. Its not economical we have never got even got 40MPG when Ford claim we should be getting at least 54MPG. Its not powerful, its slower than a 1.3(75PS) Vauxhall Corsa. Practicality is no good either, the boot is tiny and rear leg and head room is almost non existant. Its not exactly engaging to drive either. We have had loads of problems witht his car the engine kept constantly having at least 1 thing wrong with it and sent the engine mangement electrics crazy. Not to mention that within 2months of buying the car a rear brake light had failed. The gearbox is not smooth and within a few months the clutch was wrecked. Running cost already arn't good fuel wise and because it spent more time in the dealership than on the road it was a costly matter. Overall this is a horrible car, take this review as a warning DON'T BUY A FORD FIESTA!! I most certainly would not recomend this car and would not buy a Ford again.

I bought my fiesta zetec-s tdci to replace a mini cooper d and in all honesty didn't expect it to be as good. I have to say after 25,000 and a year of ownership it's impressed me no end. It's more practical and arguably better to look at than the mini, although build quality maybe isn't quite as good, more rattles & squeaks. All in all though a great car and would definitely buy another.

It looks great, drives great, but is very poorly built, with trim having fallen off and many rattles, buzzes and squeaks from the trim throughout the car.

My car is fabulous - it takes every kind of journey in its stride, handles brilliantly, still looks great, and is just tremendous fun to drive. The fiesta will never be beat for supermini driving quality - a trait other firms such as vw seem not to be able to master.
