The period between 1 March and 31 August this year saw the new-car market perform better than it has done in a long time and we would expect the 63-plate cars (from 1 September 2013) to continue that trend. Alfa Romeo deals
Alfa Romeo has knocked £2,000 off its fast Alfa Romeo MiTo Cloverleaf model, meaning it now costs £16,995. The company will also make a £500 contribution to the price of a MiTo Live, which has also had £2,000 slashed from its price. The Audi website has numerous offers on its model range, including five-year free servicing on the Audi A1 and low APR finance on the Audi A3, which means you pay around £1,000 less over a three-year period. The Audi A8 saloon can also be bought in Sport Executive specification, which for £3,000, adds equipment worth more than £6,000 including huge 20-inch alloy wheels, a BOSE stereo and bright all-LED headlights. Chevrolet is currently offering a £6,500 saving on the Chevrolet Captivia VCDI LT, meaning it now costs £20,495. The seven-seater SUV comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, separate air-conditioning controls for the driver and passenger, DAB radio and four-wheel drive. The company is also offering competitive finance deals, which cut up to £1,375 off selected models. The Chrysler 300C Saloon can now be had with a £10,005 saving when bought with the company's finance scheme. The firm has also slashed £3,161 off the price of a Chrysler Delta hatchback when purchased using Chrysler Horizon PCP. Citroen is offering a range of finance deals on numerous models. Buy a Citroen DS4 e-HDi 115 DStyle, for example, and the Citroen will make a £4,500 contribution to its Elect 3 PCP scheme. Fiat is offering two attractive deals on its Fiat Panda and Fiat Punto models. The 1.2-litre Panda Pop can be had for £7,495 using Fiat I-Deal finance, which translates into a £99 deposit followed by 47 monthly installments of £99, with an optional lump-sum payment at the end of the agreement. The 1.2-litre Punto Pop deal means a £119 deposit, followed by 47 monthly deposits of £119 and an optional final payment. Ford is offering the Ford Ka Studio for £8,045, which represents a £750 saving over the normal price, while the Ford Fiesta ST fast hatchback is being offered with the £275 ST styling pack free of charge. More impressive deals come in the form of a series of deposit allowance schemes, which means Ford will pay up to £1,700 towards cars such as the Ford Focus Studio, Ford B-MAX and Ford C-MAX, when the car's are purchased using Ford Credit. Honda has knocked £1,200 off the cost of the Honda Jazz, meaning the practical hatchback now costs from £10,495. Hyundai models consistently score well on our CarBuyer Hyundai reviews page and the Hyundai website is awash with money saving deals. The firm has dropped the price of a Hyundai i30 SE 1.4 by £1,500 so that it now costs from £14,495. Money has also been shaved from the price of the smaller Hyundai i10 – it's dropped by £1,350 to cost £8,695. Most of the range is also available with zero percent APR.
Buy a 2014 Jaguar XJ 3.0-litre Diesel using the Jaguar Privilege Payment scheme and the company will make a £13,050 contribution to the value of the car. After interest, that means you’ll pay £47,540 for a car that sells for £56,865. Kia already offers a seven-year warranty on its models, but has now cut up to £1,400 off the Kia Rio, with the Kia Picanto and Kia Cee’d getting reductions of around £1,000. Land Rover deals
Buy a Range Rover Evoque or a Land Rover Freelander and the company will make a £2,000 contribution to the car's value, when it's purchased using the Land Rover Freedom finance. Mercedes is offering three years’ free servicing on the Mercedes A Class, excluding the AMG A45 performance model. The Mitsubishi Mirage city car can be yours for £125 a month. The firm has also slashed prices of the aging, but rugged, Mitsubishi Shogun 4x4. The basic three-door Shogun SG2, with a manual gearbox, has been reduced by almost £4,000, while the top specification three-door Shogun SG4 automatic has lost £5,000 off its list price. The Nissan range is also being offered with competitive finance deals on selected models. The offers mean you can drive away in a new Nissan Micra for £99 a month, a Nissan Note for £159 a month, or a Nissan Leaf for £189 a month (including the monthly lease of its batteries). Called Just Add Fuel, the deal can be had on models ranging from the Peugeot 107 supermini, to the Peugeot 308 hatchback and the Peugeot 3008 SUV. Skoda has cut VAT from selected models, including the Skoda Fabia Reaction. For £9,690, it adds kit worth £3,715 – such as alloy wheels, tinted windows, a rear spoiler, sports steering wheel, air conditioning and front fog lights – for less than £1,000. Standout deal on the SsangYong website is the top-of-the-range SsangYong Korando EX, which is now available at just £19,995 – a saving of £3,000 on the retail price. Selected cars in the Suzuki range are being offered VAT free with customer savings of up to £2,500 to be made. The deal covers models such as the Suzuki Alto, Suzuki Splash, Suzuki Swift and Suzuki SX4.
