Renault is the only mainstream manufacturer offering 0% APR PCP deals at the moment, and the Renault Clio E-Tech Hybrid in Techno trim is likely to be one of its most appealing models. It’s available with a £500 discount, and low monthly repayments of £214. Techo is also well equipped and stylish, coming with 17-inch diamond-cut alloys, LED lighting and a seven-inch infotainment display.

The SEAT Arona is one of our favourite small SUVs, and it’s currently available with a £1,500 deposit contribution. This helps make the initial deposit much more affordable, and monthly payments of less than £250 should also be very appealing. You’ll get the 1.0-litre TSI engine with 94bhp that’s spritely enough for urban and motorway driving. SE Technology trim is arguably the sweet spot in the range, thanks to a 9.25-inch sat nav, eight-inch instrument display, wireless phone charging and rear parking sensors.
